Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bailey's Peppermint Twist Irish Cream
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 0.5 oz crème de cacao optional, for more chocolate
  • ice cubes for shaking
  • crushed candy cane for rim
  • small candy cane for garnish

Instructions

  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
  • Dip the rim in a little simple syrup, then roll in crushed candy cane to coat.
  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add Bailey's Peppermint Twist, vodka, and crème de cacao (if using).
  • Shake for 10–15 seconds until very cold.
  • Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with a small candy cane.

Notes

For a creamier drink, add 1 oz milk or cream to the shaker. Prefer mint-forward? Replace the crème de cacao with 1/2 oz peppermint schnapps. You can also skip vodka for a lower-ABV sipper and pour the mix over ice instead of serving up.
