Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vodka smooth style recommended
  • 1 oz Baileys Irish cream chocolate flavor (or similar)
  • 0.5 oz chocolate liqueur
  • 0.5 oz espresso optional
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup to taste
  • chocolate syrup or caramel, for drizzling
  • chocolate shavings or cocoa powder, for garnish
  • ice cubes for shaking

Instructions

  • Chill a martini glass in the freezer for about 5 minutes.
  • Add vodka, Baileys (chocolate), chocolate liqueur, espresso (if using), and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the shaker is very cold.
  • Drizzle chocolate (or caramel) syrup inside the chilled glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass and garnish with chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder.

Notes

Using a clean, neutral vodka keeps the focus on the chocolate. Adjust sweetness by reducing or increasing the simple syrup. Omit the espresso for a purely chocolate profile, or keep it for a mocha vibe.
