Ingredients

  • 2 oz reposado tequila
  • 1.5 oz apple cider fresh is best
  • 1 oz apple juice
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup or simple syrup
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ice cubes
  • apple slices for garnish
  • cinnamon stick for garnish
  • cinnamon sugar for rimming glass, optional

Instructions

  • Rim your glass with lime juice and dip it in cinnamon sugar, if desired.
  • Combine tequila, apple cider, apple juice, lime juice, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake well for about 15 seconds until chilled.
  • Strain into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh apple cider gives the best flavor, but any works in a pinch. Swap maple syrup for honey or simple syrup if you like. For extra spice, dust more cinnamon on top. Omit tequila for a non-alcoholic version.
