  • Jigger or shot glass
  • Citrus juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Bar spoon
  • Rocks glass or mason jar

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka plain or apple-flavored
  • 3 oz apple cider chilled, unsweetened if possible
  • 1 oz orange juice fresh
  • 0.5 oz lemon juice fresh
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup optional, to taste
  • crushed ice for shaking and serving
  • apple slices for garnish
  • cinnamon stick optional; or a pinch of ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
  • Add vodka, apple cider, orange juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup (if using).
  • Shake for 10–15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice and stir gently.
  • Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

Use fresh cider for the brightest flavor. If your cider is sweet, reduce or omit the syrup. For a fizzy twist, swap in sparkling apple cider or top with a splash of club soda.
