  • Citrus juicer
  • Strainer
  • Rocks glass
  • Bar spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon whiskey or rye whiskey
  • 1 oz fresh apple cider
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 egg white optional
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • ice cubes for shaking
  • cinnamon stick for garnish
  • apple slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Add bourbon, cider, lemon juice, syrup, bitters, and egg white (if using) to shaker.
  • Dry shake for 15 seconds.
  • Add ice and shake again until chilled.
  • Strain into rocks glass with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with cinnamon stick and apple slice.

Notes

Use fresh apple cider for best flavor. Garnish with cinnamon or apple for added aroma and presentation. Egg white adds smooth texture but can be skipped.
