Serving Size 1 glass

Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Measuring jigger
  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Small plate
  • Strainer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup apple cider chilled
  • 0.5 cup sparkling water or sparkling apple cider for more sweetness
  • 1 cinnamon stick for garnish and a touch of spice
  • ground cinnamon just a pinch
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated or sliced thin
  • 1 fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • ice cubes to chill the drink

Instructions

  • Fill your highball glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour in the apple cider and give it a quick stir with your bar spoon.
  • Add the fresh ginger and a pinch of ground cinnamon.
  • Slowly top off with sparkling water (or sparkling apple cider).
  • Stir gently, just enough to mix but not so much you lose the fizz.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a mint sprig.
  • Serve right away while it’s cold and still fizzy.

Notes

If you use sparkling apple cider, it’s definitely sweeter—sometimes skip the extra cinnamon for a less spicy version. Fresh ginger has more bite, but powdered ginger is a fine substitute. Chilling the glass helps maintain fizz and temperature.
