  • Muddler
  • Jigger or measuring spoon
  • Strainer
  • Short glass
  • Ice
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 2 oz apple cider fresh if possible
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup or more to taste
  • 2-3 apple slices for muddling and garnish
  • 3-5 fresh mint leaves plus more for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Add apple slices and mint leaves to the shaker.
  • Muddle until the apples release some juice.
  • Pour in the bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Add ice to fill the shaker halfway.
  • Shake well for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into a short glass filled with ice.
  • Garnish with more apple slices and fresh mint.

Notes
