Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Cocktail

Apple Cider Aperol Spritz Cocktail Recipe
Crisp apple cider meets bright Aperol and bubbly prosecco for a refreshing, cozy spritz that’s perfect for fall (or any time). Light bitterness balances gentle sweetness, with a splash of club soda to keep it extra fizzy.

Serving Size 1 cocktail

Equipment

  • Measuring jigger
  • Mixing spoon
  • Wine glass or large stemmed glass
  • Ice cubes
  • Small cutting board and knife
  • Peeler or zester

Ingredients

  • 3 oz apple cider fresh and unsweetened if possible
  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 3 oz prosecco chilled
  • 1 oz club soda
  • ice cubes for serving
  • apple slices for garnish
  • orange wedge optional, for garnish
  • cinnamon stick optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a wine glass halfway with ice.
  • Pour in apple cider and Aperol, then stir gently to combine.
  • Add chilled prosecco slowly to preserve the bubbles.
  • Top with club soda for extra fizz.
  • Garnish with an apple slice or orange wedge; add a cinnamon stick if desired.
  • Serve immediately while cold and bubbly.

Notes

Use fresh apple cider for the best flavor; bottled cider works too. For less bitterness, reduce Aperol slightly and add a touch more cider or club soda. Rim the glass with cinnamon sugar for a festive touch. Dry sparkling wine can substitute for prosecco.
Easily scale up for a crowd: keep the same ratios and add club soda just before serving to maintain carbonation.
