1ozWhite rum
0.5ozFresh lime juice
6-8Fresh mint leaves
2-3Fresh cranberriesfor garnish
2-3ozSoda water
1-2tspSimple syrupoptional
Ice cubes
Instructions
Place mint leaves in a cocktail shaker.
Add lime juice and simple syrup, then gently muddle the mint.
Pour in Aperol, rum, and cranberry juice.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 10–15 seconds.
Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
Top with soda water and stir gently.
Garnish with cranberries and a sprig of mint.
Notes
Muddle mint gently to avoid bitterness. For a lighter version, add more soda water and reduce rum. Frozen cranberries can double as decorative ice cubes without watering down the drink.
