Equipment

  • Copper mug or sturdy cocktail glass
  • Jigger
  • Bar spoon
  • Cutting Board
  • Knife
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ice scoop
  • Small plate

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 2 oz Apple cider
  • 0.5 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 3-4 oz Ginger beer or ginger ale for milder flavor
  • Ice cubes
  • Apple slices for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • Ground cinnamon optional, pinch on top

Instructions

  • Fill a copper mug with ice.
  • Pour in vodka, Aperol, apple cider, and lime juice.
  • Stir gently for 5–10 seconds.
  • Top with ginger beer.
  • Stir once more to combine lightly.
  • Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

For stronger spice, use ginger beer; for milder sweetness, use ginger ale. Reduce Aperol to 0.75 oz for less bitterness. Chill cider and ginger beer beforehand to minimize ice dilution. For a non-alcoholic version, omit vodka and Aperol and add extra cider and ginger beer.
