Equipment

  • Highball glass
  • Rocks glass
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail spoon
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Cutting Board
  • Small knife
  • Ice scoop
  • Small plate

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 4-6 oz soda water or club soda, or sparkling water
  • ice cubes
  • 1 orange slice or wedge fresh, for garnish
  • mineral water optional splash for different texture

Instructions

  • Fill a highball glass or rocks glass with ice cubes.
  • Measure 2 oz Aperol with a jigger and pour over the ice.
  • Add 4–6 oz soda water, club soda, or sparkling water.
  • Stir gently with a cocktail spoon to preserve the bubbles.
  • Garnish with a fresh orange slice or wedge on the rim or in the glass.
  • Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

Club soda adds a touch of saltiness that can make Aperol pop. For more Aperol flavor, reduce soda water to about 3 oz. Drink promptly to avoid dilution from melting ice.
