  • Bar spoon
  • Citrus juicer or reamer
  • Ice cubes
  • Small knife

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Aperol
  • 3 oz Ginger beer chilled
  • 1 oz Sparkling wine chilled
  • 0.5 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • 0.25 oz Simple syrup optional, for added sweetness
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Orange slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill the wine glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Measure and pour in the Aperol.
  • Add the fresh lemon juice.
  • Stir gently with the bar spoon.
  • Top off with ginger beer, then sparkling wine.
  • Stir gently again to mix without losing bubbles.
  • Garnish with an orange slice on the rim or in the drink.

Notes

Use dry sparkling wine to balance the ginger beer's sweetness. Skip the simple syrup if your wine is already sweet. Keep all ingredients chilled for the best result and avoid shaking to preserve carbonation.
