- Cocktail shaker
- Strainer
- Highball glass
- Measuring jigger (1 oz and 2 oz sides)

- Citrus juicer (optional)
- Ice bucket
- Bar spoon or long-handled spoon
Ingredients
For one cocktail:
- 2 oz white rum
- 1 oz fresh lime juice about 1 medium lime
- 1 oz mango puree fresh or store-bought
- 10-12 fresh mint leaves plus extra for garnish
- 2 tsp sugar or 1 oz simple syrup
- Sparkling water or club soda
- Ice cubes
- Mango slice and lime wedge for garnish
- Use ripe mangoes for the puree if making it fresh.
Instructions
- Prepare the glass: Fill a highball glass with ice and set aside.
- Muddle the mint: Place mint leaves and sugar (or simple syrup) in a cocktail shaker. Gently muddle to release the mint oils without shredding the leaves.
- Add remaining ingredients: Pour in the rum, lime juice, and mango puree. Add ice to the shaker and seal tightly.
- Shake well: Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Strain and serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. Top with sparkling water or club soda (about 2 oz).
- Garnish: Add a sprig of mint, mango slice, and lime wedge to the rim of the glass.
- The drink appears light yellow-orange with flecks of mint throughout.
