Equipment

• Tall Collins glass
• Jigger or measuring tool
• Bar spoon
• Strainer
• Cocktail shaker
• Muddler

Ingredients

• 1 oz vanilla vodka
• 1 oz cream liqueur
• 1 oz blue curacao
• 4-5 fresh strawberries
• Ice cubes
• Fresh blueberries for garnish
• Whipped cream optional

Instructions

• Muddle strawberries in a cocktail shaker until they release their juices.
• Add vanilla vodka and ice to the shaker. Shake for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
• Strain the red mixture into a tall collins glass filled with ice.
• Gently pour the cream liqueur over the back of a bar spoon to create the white layer.
• Pour the blue curacao slowly over the back of a bar spoon to form the blue layer on top.
• Add fresh blueberries and a dollop of whipped cream as garnish if desired.

Notes

The layers will stay separate when pouring each ingredient over the back of a spoon. Pour slowly to maintain distinct color bands.

Substitute strawberry vodka for vanilla vodka to enhance the berry flavor.

Keep ingredients chilled before mixing for best results. Room temperature liquids may blend together more easily.

Make alcohol-free versions using strawberry syrup, cream, and blue raspberry syrup.
