• Jigger or measuring tool
• Champagne flute or wine glass
• Fine-mesh strainer
• Bar spoon
• Ice bucket

Ingredients

• 2 oz premium vodka
• 1 oz cherry liqueur
• 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
• 3 oz prosecco or sparkling wine
• Fresh cherries for garnish
• Ice cubes

Instructions

• Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
• Pour vodka, cherry liqueur, and lemon juice into the shaker.
• Shake for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
• Strain the mixture into a champagne flute or wine glass filled with ice.
• Top with prosecco or sparkling wine.
• Stir gently with a bar spoon to combine.
• Garnish with fresh cherries.

Notes

Fresh cherries work best for garnish during summer months when in season. Store-bought maraschino cherries can be used as a substitute.

Keep ingredients chilled before mixing for the best results. Room temperature prosecco will lose its fizz faster.

The recipe makes one serving. Double or triple the ingredients to serve more guests, but mix each drink individually for the best taste.

This drink can be made less sweet by reducing the cherry liqueur to 1/2 oz or adding an extra splash of lemon juice.
