Ingredients
- 3 oz about 90 ml Prosecco: I choose a dry, crisp Prosecco for the best balance.
- 2 oz about 60 ml Aperol: This gives the drink its signature orange flavor.
- 1 oz about 30 ml Soda Water: Adds a bit of sparkle.
- Ice Cubes: I use plenty to keep the drink chilled.
- 1-2 Orange Slices or a Twist: For garnish I prefer fresh oranges.
Instructions
- Fill the Glass: I fill my glass with ice to the top.
- Pour Aperol: I measure and pour the Aperol first.
- Add Prosecco: Next, I gently pour in Prosecco to keep the bubbles.
- Top with Soda Water: I finish with a splash of soda water.
- Stir Gently: Using a bar spoon, I give the drink a slow, gentle stir.
- Garnish: I add an orange slice or twist to the rim for a pop of flavor and color.
To avoid mixing out the fizz, I stir slowly and do not shake.
